Pain Relief vs Correcting the Problem

back pain

Many people find themselves going to a Chiropractor because they have some sort of ache or pain that is limiting their activities of daily living or they just do not want to live that way any longer. For many years it was taught in chiropractic school how to diagnose, manage, and treat musculoskeletal dysfunctions that were causing pain. This form of treatment gives relatively quick results and when the patient is pain free (or close to it) the treatment is completed. However, clinical results in recent years has shown that the same or similar symptoms have a greater risk of returning at the same or greater intensity within a shorter period of time without proper treatment. This is known as Corrective Care Chiropractic Treatment.

We fix the problem

Dr. Kimberly Raby has been practicing Corrective Care Chiropractic Treatment of structural instabilities with resulting musculoskeletal pain since 2001. It was her focus from the beginning to not only get people to feel better but to also fix the problem that was the cause of the pain in the first place. This is simply a more permanent form of addressing the issue.

From an x-ray Dr. Kimberly Raby is able to evaluate the structural integrity of your spine. She will compare where you are to where you should be. That gives us a starting point. Given your age, activity levels, lifestyle, and any degenerative changes of your spine, she will be able to create a specialized corrective action plan to get your spine to as near normal as possible for you. After the action plan is complete, a post x-ray is taken to measure the level of correction obtained. By correcting the spine you not only feel better, but you also reduce your chances of the pain coming back again.

No one is perfect!!! Our job is to get you to be as perfect as you can be for you.
